In everyday life, plastic plays a crucial role as a lightweight, hygienic, and efficient material, particularly as a food container that helps maintain the quality and safety of food for families. However, these optimal benefits can only be realized if we have a proper understanding of the types and characteristics of its responsible use. In response to this, Chandra Asri Group, through the Indonesia Asri campaign, presents Jejak Asri Hobbies alongside the Sobat Asri community as a space to learn, share, and collaborate on managing household needs more wisely.
Under the theme “Inspirational Ramadan with More Solutive Plastic Solutions”, the education on plastic usage is delivered through an interactive and creative approach featuring a cupcake decoration workshop. In this session, participants do not only explore their creativity but are also invited to closely identify various types of plastics such as PP, PE, HDPE, and LLDPE to ensure they are used according to their specific functions, ranging from heat-resistant containers to safe packaging. The synergy between technical education and creativity is expected to foster a collective awareness that every wise action in managing plastic is a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability as well as a definitive step toward a more beautiful, greener Indonesia.
